J.B. Brewer, IV represents clients in all aspects of corporate and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, finance, development, leasing, and disposition. He has extensive experience negotiating purchase contracts, joint venture documents, loan agreements and leases. In addition to the transactional setting, J.B. also advises businesses on entity structuring, corporate governance, and succession planning. Whether closing a complex transaction or structuring a business, J.B. focuses on delivering exceptional and efficient legal solutions to accomplish the client’s goals.
Prior to joining Littlewood Law in 2022, J.B. was a solo practitioner based in the Triangle with a reputation for developing strong client relationships centered around responsiveness, collaboration, and trust. He advised clients on matters including estate planning, trademark registrations, contract disputes, and residential real estate closings before focusing his practice on corporate and commercial real estate transactions. In addition to his legal career, J.B.’s third-generation family business has owned and operated quick-service restaurants for nearly six decades. His experience managing and developing restaurants is the foundation for J.B.’s passion for customer service and commercial real estate.
J.B. received his bachelor’s degree in political science from North Carolina State University before earning his law degree from Campbell Law School where he graduated with honors. He is a proud graduate of Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, V.A. Born and raised in Rocky Mount, J.B. now resides in Raleigh with his wife, Tara, and their two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, duck hunting and spending time at Wrightsville Beach.
